MORNING PRAYER Good Friday, April 18, 2025
“And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split” Matthew 27:50-51
It was a very Good Friday! Although the world turned dark and the earth shook, it was on a Friday that you paid the ultimate price for humanity’s sin debt to God. Only you, Jesus, were the perfect atonement for all eternity. I can never repay the debt I owe. What I can do is offer to love and serve you in spirit and truth.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
